Riders win 5-4 vs Golden
The Ghostriders spotted Golden 3 goals in the first before scoring 2 in the second but were still down 4-2. In the third Fernie scored three nice goal scorer type of goals goals for the win Alex Milhouse, Brendon Mangon and Brendan Burge (GW) scored those goals. . Wicks and Garcia (2 goals) had an unbelievable fight in the second. Full gamesheet here

ReplyDeleteBest fight all year in the KI! Garcia form Golden is a tough customer. 2 goals, 1 assist and took it to Wicks in the best scrap of the season!
ReplyDeleteYou must have been watching a different fight than everyone else was. I would say Wicks in a unanimous decision!
ReplyDeleteWow, I love the GR but that was a very even fight and Wicks, as much as i like him, did not unanimously win anything. Be careful, sometimes that homer-itis clouds your brain. Watch the archive with an open mind, i have, maybe it will enlighten you!

ReplyDeleteIt was a great fight and it was one of Wicks best fights even if it was a tie between the two. Watching the helmets get punched right off and the massive blows to the head going both ways. I though it was great, but it was an even win for both. The pat they gave each other on the back showed they both knew it was a great fight. They did it for the fans and spectators.
